Terms of Service

By accessing or using Triangle Travel Ball (the “Site”) at www.triangletravelball.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Triangle Travel Ball is a community platform that connects travel baseball and softball players, coaches, and teams across the Triangle region of North Carolina. The Site allows users to:

• Browse and post tryout listings
• Browse and post scrimmage and practice events
• Create and browse player availability profiles
• Contact the Site administrators

All services are provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future with advance notice.

To post content on the Site, you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported third-party authentication provider (Google). You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up to date
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

4a. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post to the Site (“User Content”). By posting content, you grant Triangle Travel Ball a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content in connection with the operation of the Site.

4b. Accuracy

You agree that all content you post is accurate and not misleading. Tryout listings, scrimmage events, and player profiles must reflect real, legitimate opportunities. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit.

4c. Prohibited Content

You may not post content that:

• Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
• Infringes any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
• Contains personal information of minors beyond what is necessary for a legitimate player profile
• Is harassing, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or discriminatory
• Promotes illegal activities
• Contains spam, unsolicited advertising, or commercial solicitations unrelated to youth baseball or softball
• Violates any applicable local, state, or federal law

4d. Content Moderation

All posts are subject to review and approval by our administrators before becoming publicly visible. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any content at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason including but not limited to violations of these Terms.

When you include contact information (phone numbers, email addresses) in a public listing, you acknowledge that this information will be publicly visible. Only include contact information you are authorized to share and that you wish to make public. Triangle Travel Ball is not responsible for any unsolicited contact you receive as a result of publicly displayed information.

Player profiles for athletes under the age of 18 may only be created by a parent or legal guardian. By submitting a profile for a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that athlete and consent to the public display of the submitted information on behalf of the minor.

We encourage parents and guardians to limit the personal information shared in minor player profiles to what is reasonably necessary to connect with teams and coaches.

The Site and its original content, features, design, and functionality — excluding User Content — are owned by Triangle Travel Ball and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including team websites, registration platforms, and player profile services. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content or practices of any third-party sites. Your use of third-party sites is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Any content posted by users is accurate, complete, or reliable
• Any tryout, scrimmage, or player opportunity listed will result in a successful placement or outcome

You use the Site and rely on its content entirely at your own risk. Always independently verify the details of any opportunity before attending an event or sharing personal information with a third party.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Triangle Travel Ball and its owners, operators, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Site
• Any content posted by users, including inaccurate or fraudulent listings
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any other matter relating to the Site

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall not exceed $100 USD.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Triangle Travel Ball and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your use of the Site, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your dashboard or by contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use the Site ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitation of liability — shall survive.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
